Istio base chart

helm install istio-base istio/base -n istio-system --set defaultRevision=default --create-namespace

Istio discovery chart

helm install istiod istio/istiod -n istio-system --create-namespace

ingress gateway

istiod는 Control Plane 역할을 수행하며, 실제 데이터 트래픽을 처리하는 것은 ingress gateway다.

helm install istio-ingress istio/gateway -n istio-ingress --create-namespace
