Instances failed to join the kubernetes cluster

• 현상: EKS를 만들고 node group을 생성하는데 creating에서 몇분간 pending상태였다가 실패하면서 발생한 에러
• 디버깅 방법
• 원인: vpc에서 꼬인듯
• 해결: terraform-aws-modules/vpc/aws 모듈을 이용한 vpc 사용

The member account is missing one or more of the prerequisites required to operate as a standalone account

• 현상: AWS accounts에서 User를 생성하고 바로 제거하려고 하는데 발생한 에러

mount target already exists in this AZ

• 현상: 테라폼으로 nfs 생성하다가 발생한 에러
• 원인: 같은 availability zone에 mount target을 중복으로 생성하려 함. 서브넷 하나당 nfs mount target1개씩 생성하는데, 하나의 az에 두 개의 서브넷이 있었음. az와 mount target은 1:1 구조여야 하는데, 1:2가 되어버림.
• 해결: 이미 생성된 availability zone의 mount target을 제거하거나 az에 서브넷이 하나씩 있도록 구성

not supported in your requested Availability Zone

• 현상: eks cluster에 p4d.24xlarge 인스턴스가 프로비저닝이 안됨

• 원인: vpc가 설치된 Availability Zone이 해당 인스턴스를 지원 안함

• 에러

  Could not launch On-Demand Instances. Unsupported - Your requested instance type (p4d.24xlarge) is not supported in your requested Availability Zone (ap-northeast-2c). Please retry your request by not specifying an Availability Zone or choosing ap-northeast-2d. Launching EC2 instance failed.

• 해결

  아래 명령어로 해당 인스턴스가 가능한 az를 찾고, vpc의 availability_zone에 추가해준다.
